The Process
-
A brief, free, initial consultation to listen and understand your situation and an explanation on how mediation can help. We'll discuss the mediation process, answer your questions and concerns and determine the next steps.
-
After booking your mediation session, you'll receive intake forms to complete online. These help us understand your situation better and ensure our time together is productive.
-
Each party may meet separately to share their perspective and priorities in a confidential setting. This helps establish understanding and can create a foundation for productive mediation sessions.
-
Structured sessions designed to address your specific needs and concerns in a neutral, supported environment. Whether parties participate together or separately, sessions focus on reaching practical agreements that work for your situation.
-
Clear and precise documentation of any agreements reached, ensuring all parties have a shared understanding of decisions made and next steps. We will draft formal documents such as parenting plans and preliminary property or financial settlement agreements. Both parties review and sign the agreements to formalise them. For property and financial settlements, independent legal and expert financial advice is required before final agreements, and consent orders can be sought through the court to make agreements legally enforceable if required.
